Reach out Dual Enroll at WMUDual enrollment through Early College Programs at WMU provides eligible high school students with credits that may be applied toward high school graduation requirements as well as a college or university program. Apply Now Contact Us How to apply To dual enroll at WMU, you need to: Be enrolled in a Michigan high school. Have a 3.0 high school GPA for freshmen - juniors, and a 2.75 high school GPA for seniors. Get approval from your high school counselor and parent/guardian. Then, follow these steps: Complete the online application. Choose Main Campus | Domestic student when the option arises. Have your high school counselor fill out the Counselor Approval form and submit transcripts. (An email is sent directly to the counselor email you provide on your application). Have your parent(s)/guardian(s) complete the Parent Approval form. Dual-enrolled student tuition is the same as undergraduate tuition rates. Check here for updated tuition and fees. Tuition does not cover books, parking, or other fees. How do I pay my bill? Once you are enrolled, you can access your financial account information through your GoWMU portal.  You are responsible for the remainder amount indicated on your Third-Party Authorization form. What classes can I take? You can find available classes through the WMU Course Offerings website. Classes fill up quickly, so it is best to apply and enroll as soon as possible before the start of a semester. Make sure to check with your high school counselor about which classes fit with your high school graduation plan. Will my credits transfer?  All WMU dual enrollment credits can be applied to a future degree at WMU.
